This policy explains what personal data Hardseeking collects, why it is collected, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be impressive.

Who runs this site

Hardseeking is an independent project operated by an individual based in Serbia. For any question about this policy or your data, contact hardseekingofficial@gmail.com.

What is collected

Only one thing is collected directly on this website, and only if you choose to give it:

  • Your email address, if you subscribe to the newsletter.

You do not need to give an email address to read anything on this site. No account is required. No personal data is collected from readers who simply browse.

Why it is collected

Your email address is used for one purpose: to send you new deep dives and occasional updates from Hardseeking. It is not sold, rented, or traded, and it is not used to build a profile of you.

The legal basis for this is your consent, which you give by subscribing and can withdraw at any time.

Who processes it

The newsletter is operated through Kit (formerly ConvertKit), an email service provider. When you subscribe, your email address is stored on Kit's systems on our behalf, and Kit processes it under its own privacy policy. Kit may store data outside your country, including in the United States.

Payments are not processed on this website. If you buy a product, the purchase happens on Gumroad, which acts as the seller and handles your payment and billing data under its own privacy policy. Hardseeking never sees or stores your card details.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use advertising cookies and does not track you across the web or build a profile of you.

Visitor numbers are measured using Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is privacy-focused: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not follow you to other websites. It records anonymous, aggregated information such as which pages were viewed, the country a visit came from, and which site referred it. None of it identifies you personally.

The newsletter form and the embedded fonts may set limited technical cookies or make requests necessary for them to function.

How long it is kept

Your email address is kept for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, it is removed from the active list. You can ask for it to be deleted entirely at any time.

Your rights

You can, at any time and without giving a reason:

  • Unsubscribe, using the link at the bottom of every email.
  • Ask what data is held about you.
  • Ask for your data to be corrected or deleted.

To do any of these, email hardseekingofficial@gmail.com. Requests are handled within a reasonable period.

Age

This website and its products are intended for individuals aged 18 and over. Do not subscribe if you are under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
